Character Information
Name: Eve
Canon: Elsword
Age: 1000+
Appearance:
fig. 1: Eve, Queen of the Nasods and Sexy Humanoid Robot

History: World background, Eve's background (also her class pages for how this affects her as a character) and an incredibly bare bones summary of canon events (Eve joins the group around chapter 7 of this). Since the official English version(s) aren't finished translating the latest region, SPOILERS everyone was mind controlled by demons and the party has to save the Wind Priestess from a succubus in a giant demon turtle. It turns out okay.

This Eve is the Code Nemesis version and, for those who understand and/or care, the rest of her party includes Infinity Sword, Dimension Witch, Wind Sneaker, Reckless Fist, Tactical Trooper, Sakra Devanam, Grand Master, and ??? Add only has one class option so far and isn't actually part of the group so uhh I'm gonna be vague about that one for now.

Canon Point: Code Nemesis; The end of the Sander arc

Personality:
Eve is the Queen of Nasods, and she acts to fit her role. She is elegant, decisive, and highly intelligent. She is programmed to analyze threats and pinpoint their weaknesses, commanding her drones or spears to destroy whatever target stands in her way. As the user of the Exotic Code, she takes on a very active role when faced with danger. A wise and powerful queen, Eve is not an opponent to be taken lightly.

Unfortunately, battles and calculations aren't the only thing Eve has to deal with in day to day life. Though she's spent the past few years travelling with Elsword's party, her social skills are still lacking. She tends to be quiet and brief around strangers, and only a little more talkative around friends. She speaks when she has something useful to contribute, or when spoken to. Before she was awoken by Elsword, in the days when the Nasod kingdom still thrived, she never really had "friends" at all. Nasods never really thought friendship and emotions were important. Eve gets easily flustered when her own emotions are brought up, denying that she's even capable of such a thing, making up excuses for her own behaviour, etc., etc. When she's flustered she rambles, and rambling makes her get more flustered because it's embarrassing, and embarrassment is an emotion which she totally doesn't have and... yeah, you get the idea.

Of course, when she isn't flustered or embarrassed she has a nigh-impenetrable pokerface. When she isn't outside of her antisocial comfort zone, it's impossible to tell what she's thinking or feeling.

Eve also has both a short temper and a policy of "hit first, ask questions later." Upon first meeting Elsword, she slapped him in the face before he even had a chance to explain anything. When she loses a fight, she takes it out on her drones. When Chung offhandedly calls a Nasod stupid, he gets a good hard slappin'. Though she'd never try to injure her friends or allies seriously, she believes that a little physical punishment isn't out of the question. They can take it.

Though she can be a little rough around the edges at times, Eve still sees herself as a queen and makes certain to act that way. Her appearance is very important, and she gets flustered and upset when her clothing or hair is damaged. She tends to order people around sometimes without noticing, being in charge is just how she was created to be. Though she's fine with taking orders from others when she deems the plan suitable, she's also quick to criticize if she doesn't. In short, when it comes to everything Eve will only accept the best; a queen should never have to settle for anything less.

She also likes to believe herself to be infallible, or at least to convince others of such. When she messes up, she's quick to make up excuses or place the blame on something else. She missed the shot because the platform was moving too much, she lost because her drones weren't working hard enough, some unpredictable value came into play that interfered with her calculations, etc., etc., etc...

As Code Nemesis, Eve is very reckless and critical of others. Eve strives to be more than just a figurehead guarded by servants, but a strong and independent queen who would do anything to protect her kingdom and its people. She's more than willing to risk her life and her sanity for the sake of becoming strong enough to be that person. Because of her own decision to pursue this power, she can come off as harsh and judgmental towards others, insulting and scolding those who can't keep up. Her friendly diplomacy skills are poor for a queen, but she makes up for it with her overflowing confidence and air of power.

She doesn't present much as a queen—looking at her other two possible paths, Code Nemesis is the only one where she doesn't wear any sort of crown. Her clothing is sleek, practical, and reinforced, though not without a touch of femininity... she's also very quick to remind others of her status, calling her enemies "peasants" and "commoners". This shows that she values practicality over appearance (queen or not, she'd rather dress like a soldier than get killed in battle), but also that she might be a little insecure about it.

Lastly, she has a bit of a speaking quirk in that she sometimes speaks in third person. She doesn't do this as much as she used to, though it still comes up occasionally. It's kind of like a royal We for her, I guess.

Abilities/Powers/Skills:
fig. 2: a complete and utter lie
SKILL REFERENCE SHEET

Eve is the Queen of Nasods. Being the queen and all, she is incredibly skilled with machinery and programming. With enough of the proper resources, she can easily build her own robot army (which is kinda what she does sometimes). She can glide through the air and hover very lightly, there's some antigrav shit built into her feet or something. Using energy from her core and drones she can fire small energy balls (electronballs), triangles, thin energy beams on occasion, and create electrical shocks around her body. Other abilities that Eve uses include creating standing dummies of herself using concentrated energy, short term invisibility cloaking, and summoning spears/weapons/Nasod servants from hammerspace.

Her main "weapons" are her combat drones, Moby and Remy. They float by her sides and can be thrown at enemies, as well as combined into more powerful weapons, such as spears and explosives and a miniature Blackhole Generator. She can create copies of them on the spot when she needs to, though said copies only really function as bludgeoning tools. Having taken on the Exotic code, Eve has an abundance of Nasod spears at her disposal that she can summon and use to attack her enemies. She can summon and wield a variety of guns, explosives, and other large/pointy weapons which may or may not explode. There is also one skill that doesn't stab or explode things (gasp), the Atomic Shield, which involves summoning a cluster of drones to project a protective shield around her and her allies that intercepts and destroys projectile attacks. It's pretty handy.

Because fuck if I know how it's actually supposed to work, this is how her summoning decidedly works: it's not so much that she has a bunch of robots and spears stuffed in her spooky hammerspace storage, but that she has the materials stored or is otherwise able to temporarily create the materials on command. Her special Nasod weapon material can be shaped and summoned at will, usually in the form of spears, but also as guns and spare drones and more complex machinery. While this means she can use any of her summons easily without having to build and repair them between fights, it also restricts her from using her more powerful skills excessively. After all, she only has so much material to go around, and morphing it into what she needs uses up energy. Large and complex machines, such as the Nasod Guardian and the Blackhole Generator, use up nearly all of her available material and thus can only be used once before being disassembled. If she chose to keep them out longer she wouldn't be able to create any other weapons to defend herself with, and trying to keep such complex devices powered for more than a few seconds would strain her core.

IN SHORT: all of her weapons and summons come from the same basic material which has a limited available supply, but can be transformed and summoned freely.

She can also create other things on the spot, such as a solid metal throne. She could also, theoretically, create any sort of device in this fashion as needed, as long as she creates or has access to a blueprint ahead of time and the object isn't too large or complex for her material stocks to handle. Basically, following the same rules as anything else she can make. She'd be pretty good at testing out prototypes of things for people.

The most second-most powerful of her skills (the woes of ongoing MMO canons) is the unrestricted mode of the Exotic Code, Queen's Throne. When activated, she wields a set of spears alongside her drones at all times, has unlimited gliding capabilities, boosted electronballs and triangles, and some shit about numbers that only makes sense in a videogame context, etc. If she were to remove even more restrictions from this, she would also have a higher availability of weapon material, a permanent boost in damage output for all weaponry, a long-range "roar" that can zap an opponent's energy away from a huge distance away—basically, she'd become a living weapon (at the cost of her own sanity). Thankfully, she can't remove those restrictions under normal circumstances (and I imagine removing them would involve Plot anyway).

Her ACTUALLY most powerful skill is Lunatic Scud, which is basically summoning like a metric fuckload of guns and spears and rocket launchers and laser cannons and etc., raining death on everything. However, it takes up a ton of energy to use, more than her body is capable of storing. She needs a large external energy source to summon that kind of firepower on her own (such as, say, pure El energy drained from an El shard, or a really really big battery designed for ridiculous robot superpowers).

Despite being a robot, Eve still eats and breathes, because magical fantasy robots I guess. She can charge her core with direct energy sources as well as by eating regular food.

ADDENDUM 01/31/14: Under certain circumstances, Eve can summon the Queen's Core, which is basically a small hovering drone that follows her around and assists her in combat. It can lock onto targets and fire a concentrated beam attack, as well as form a protective barrier around Eve if she's attacked.

Weaknesses:
I covered most of this within the above section, so I'll make this the short&sweet version
  • Summoned weaponry/robots/energy attacks are created from energy/material stores that are limited, so she can't use her abilities endlessly.
  • Her "lingering" abilities (Cloaking, summoned robots, Atomic Shield, Queen's Throne) only work effectively for very short periods of time. She can use these abilities beyond their listed limit if they are "re-cast" (either by starting up the ability again or by expending more energy to keep it up for longer), but it will continue to drain on her energy and make it difficult to multitask.
  • Without access to her abilities, she's very weak. She can dish out some seriously hard smacks, but when it comes to melee combat using hand-to-hand or regular weapons she's completely clueless.
  • To use that graph way up there: she has high mobility, "health" and "physical defence", but very low magical defense. Her attacking stat of choice is magic, specializing in electricity, energy beams/balls, summoned spears and high-tech weaponry. On the flipside, her physical attacks are garbage.
  • Shut down her gliding capabilities and she's slow as molasses. Eve is agile, sure, but only while she can hover and fly around. If she's ground-bound for any reason, she isn't going anywhere fast.

  • Special Items: Just her combat drones, Moby and Remy.
